Bess & Gabor / Donegal Elopement

Old Dunlewey Church at the base of Mount Errigal, Donegal has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever shot a wedding. Bess & Gabor married on a rainy September friday surrounded by their closest friends and family from Hungary, the US and Ireland.

I loved every part of their wedding, from the quaint Airbnb Bess got ready in to the hilarious and intimate vows, it really was a day that captured their love perfectly. Bess created her own bouquet after hours of drying flowers and made parts of her dress herself, which is crazy impressive if you ask me!

Despite the typical Irish rain showing up partway through their ceremony, they were all smiles. I did manage to fall waist-deep in the bog but hey, anything for a laugh, right! Donegal has some of the wildest, most picturesque scenery in all of Ireland and I’m still pinching myself that they asked me to shoot their day for them. Enjoy a look at Bess & Gabor’s wedding!
